New York, New York

The new Anker. A wonderful place. Actually rather belonging to Hamburg, as one crafsman said. This is how the controversially debated  unisex toilet looks like. From the main room with washing utilities are entrances to several cabins for men, women and the disabled. Doing a quick survey with ten people in the toilet, one woman complained about lacking privacy from men in the washing room. Asking her about toilets somewhere else in the world, where they do not even have walls between the cabins respective cabins, she said she wouldn’t go there due to the discrepancy in respect definition. Managed it anyway somehow that she talked to me washing her hands. The diversity and creativity of toilets in this city is amazing.
